It has been the most WONDERFUL few days...

It has been a dream of mine for a long time to go to New York City and talk about my project on the Today Show and  IT HAPPENED!!!  (If you missed it you can see it HERE)

IT WAS AMAZING. Kathie Lee and Hoda were so so nice to me. Kathie Lee and David Freedman wrote a song and real Broadway star sang it, her name was Laura Osnes. She was in Grease, and South Pacific and Cinderella and lots of things, she was really amazing. I got to look around the studio and the Orange Room (it's smaller than you think it is). Kohl's Cares and Vermont Teddy Bear donated 100 stuffed animals to We Care Bears...my Dad was panicked about how we were going to take them on the plane but they are mailing them to us...and at the end they sent us to dinner at Ellen's Stardust Diner and to see Matilda on Broadway.

Ellen's Stardust Diner was incredible!! Deepak and everyone who works there was so nice to me, they had a whole basket full of things for my project. The waiters and waitresses sing the whole time. If you've seen a Broadway Show or a touring Broadway Show you have probably seen someone that worked at Ellen's. It was such a fun meal and they really made me feel so special - thank you everyone.

Then it was off to see Matilda. Matilda was great. It made me laugh so much. The funniest part was that Christopher Sieber played MISS Trunchbull. He was hilarious and had great legs.

I got to do so many amazing things in New York....we had lunch in China Town

 

And saw the tree...

Time Square

Macy's

and because we missed our flight home I got to go skating at Rockefeller Plaza

New York was everything I thought it would be and more.
